Trick-or-Treating

Ty was a scary gorilla for Halloween. He went trick-or-treating at the mall and got a ton of candy!

Ainsley's Project

Today Ainsley did her first art project! Sort of. Allyson (her babysitter) traced her foot and made it into a little ghost for Halloween. Isn't it cute?

Three Months Old!

Ainsley was so good when we went to have her pictures taken. I can't believe she's already three months old! I'm back at work today so it's also her first day with the babysitter. Please pray for both of us!

Lunch Date

Ainsley went to a restaurant for the first time today. We had lunch with Adrian and Sabina, and both of the girls were so well behaved. We had a great time. I brought my camera but I was so nervous having her out by myself and trying to eat my food that I forgot to take a picture!

Ty's Artwork

Ty made this picture at school last week. He must be even smarter than we thought because he had time to draw this and make straight A's!

I don't really think that anyone else is quite as entertained by these as we are, but here's another video of Ainsley "talking". I wish I could edit my voice out but I can't so just try to ignore my silly baby talk!

Marcellus

When Ty was little he had a monkey named Marcellus. Then, when I was pregnant with Ainsley we found "Marcellus Pink" and knew that Ainsley had to have her. Here she is snuggling before bedtime.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to Mainstay Farm. We've taken Ty there the last three years and now we get to take Ainsley too! It's really fun - they have a pumpkin patch, hay rides, a 3 level tree house, mazes, slides, and a bunch of other stuff. Botanic Gardens

We took Ainsley to the Botanic Gardens today. Her eyes were huge the whole time. She's never been anywhere with that many pretty colors and things to look at. I can't wait to take her back in the spring when all the flowers are blooming and she's a little older. We only stayed for about 30 minutes because that's about how long she can pay attention!

WOW!

Ainsley rolled over all by herself today! She was doing tummy time and she managed to flip onto her back. I didn't get a picture or video of her doing it, but I did get a picture of her napping afterwards. She was worn out!

Not a Morning Person

I filmed Ainsley when I went to get her up this morning. I think she is not a morning person. I wonder who she got that from . . .

She's So Cute!!

I can't remember what we were doing when I took this picture but she's making such a funny face I had to post it.

Ainsley's Highchair

I ordered Ainsley's high chair last week and it was delivered on Friday. Stuart and Ty set it up for her over the weekend. She doesn't eat anything yet, so all she does is sit in the high chair, but I like having her with us when we're eating. I used to put her in the swing (which is near the kitchen) but I still felt bad leaving her out, so now she can at least sit by us and watch what's going on. We took this picture Sunday morning when Ty was eating breakfast and Ainsley could not take her eyes off him!

The Bet

There was a new phonebook on the porch Friday afternoon, so the obvious thing to do with it (to Stuart and Ty) was to try to rip it in half. The deal they came up with was that whoever couldn't rip it in half had to clean Ty's bathroom. There was also something about having to wear a dress while you clean the bathroom, but that never panned out. Probably because I'm the one with the dresses. So after a big production Stuart won the bet.

Ty thinks he has the strongest dad in the world!

He also had possibly the grossest toilet in the world, but not anymore!

Happy Baby

It's so hard to get a picture of Ainsley smiling because she will smile at us but when we pick up the camera she stops. I tried to hold the camera to the side of my face so she could still see me and I finally got a little smile out of her.
