Valentine's Visit

Nana and Papa came all the way from Minnesota to visit us! We went shopping and rollerskating and played games and had a great time :)

Can you tell that I got part way through my blog makeover and got distracted? I was reading http://www.mycharmingkids.net/ and before I knew it naptime was over! Maybe I'll get around to making a new header later this weekend:)

Babywearing

Mom got me a sling for my birthday and Ainsley and I love it! It's from hotslings.com and I wish I had ordered one sooner. It's so much easier to do stuff around the house and it keeps Ainsley all snuggled up next to me:)

My Birthday

I am (still) so behind with my blogging that it's actually February 20th today, and I can't really remember much about my birthday two weeks ago!

Here's my cake with all 28 candles.

And here's me wrestling with poor Ainsley who did not get a piece of birthday cake :(Don't feel too bad for her - she's only ever had milk, baby cereal and vegetables so she doesn't really know what she's missing!

Superbowl Squash

Ainsley finally got to eat some big girl food on Superbowl Sunday. We decided to try butternut squash first. She did ok with the squash (you can see in the pictures that she wasn't completely thrilled), but she still seems to prefer the plain rice cereal over anything else.

Card Trick

Ty learned a new card trick at school and he tried to show it to Ainsley when he got home.

It started out ok.Doing good so far.
Now she's picking her card.

I think this is where he lost her.

And then she ate the card.

Ainsley got her first taste of magic today!
